Below are some images from our Matariki Day celebrated on June 11th.
Throughout the day students chose 3 activities to do, these included weaving Harakeke, koru patterns, making stars, cutting vegetable and making soup, cooking kumera and Poi.
In the evening we served up the soup and bread to many whanau who attended the evening session. Kapa Haka performed and after the concert we shared kai including a sausage sizzle and homemade soup.
